The three artists, Karen Roehl, Carol Browning, and Theresa Anderson shared their first studio together over on Iola Street where they came up with the partnership idea of Greymatters.  Currently part of the vibrant art scene in Denver- the three went on to be founding members of Ice 3 Gallery and Karen and Carol continue sharing studio space at the Dry Ice Factory. 

Karen and  Carol continue to garner attention for their contemporary dance with abstract expressionism.  Karen and Carol's work has been featured on/in the publication Copper Nickel, and multiple other venues.  Theresa, true to her fashion as a process based artist, has received recognition for her exploratory drawing at the Denver Art Museum, her installation at the Westword, and her paintings at the Denver Post.
