Karen Roehl, Carol Browning, and Theresa Anderson

The three artists, Karen Roehl, Carol Browning, and Theresa Anderson shared their first studio together in the Aurora Arts District where they came up with the partnership idea of Greymatters. Currently part of the vibrant art scene in Denver, the three went on to be founding members of Ice Cube Gallery located in the Dry Ice Factory, where Karen and Carol share studio space.

Karen and Carol continue to garner attention for their contemporary dance with abstract expressionism. Their work has been featured in the publication Copper Nickel, and multiple other venues. Theresa, true to her fashion as a process based artist, has received recognition for her exploratory drawing at the Denver Art Museum, her installation at the Westword, and her paintings at the Denver Post. Theresa is currently Director of Ice Cube Gallery and a member at Pirate Contemporary Art, one of Denver's oldest cooperative galleries and known for its cutting edge work.
